Maple Key Hat Knitting Pattern
*This is a knitting pattern download, not the purchase of the product shown in the photo.
This hat begins at the brim and is worked in ribbing for a deep folded brim. Once the ribbing is complete, the body is worked.
The body of the hat is worked in a texture pattern of a maple key from either written instructions or a chart. The chart/written instruction of the pattern is worked once. Decreases shape the crown and a pom pom is optional to complete the look.
This is not a beginner pattern, although it does not require many special techniques or a cable needle making it a great start for an adventurous beginner! It is a great introduction to working from charts and for giving a basic hat flair.
